Extra-Curricular Activities of AHPS

Educational Excursion
To learn about ‘the world around us’, students are taken on periodically educational excursions to places of public or social importance to see and learn about those places and their activities.

Sports
The School provides supports, facilities and encourages the students to participate in the different sports events.

The Annual Day
School showcases the performing arts and talents of the students before their parents, relatives and outsiders. The (Islamic Songs), Qira’at and Display of Talents galore are usually, as any outsiders comment, ‘awesome’ and ‘fantastic’. The Annual Day is conducted with one of the highest levels of professional and parents

Parents Participation
The Parents’ participation in their child’s development at school and home are invariably interlinked and vital for overall growth and stability of the child at home and school.
The parents are therefore encouraged to meet, interact and review their child’s education and development with his/her teachers. They are also invited to join in the special events and programs of the school like ‘An-nual Sports’, ‘Islamic Vision’, ‘Personality Development for Parents.

In the process, it has been noticed, the Islamic understanding, learning and growth of the parents as well as the bonding with their child grows remarkably strong. The parents must contribute their duty at home to provide islamic environment to their children at home too. This will help the child to practice the learnings of islam, taught in school, at home too. The parents make sure that their children practise all sunnah, aadab and aklaqh at home and do not spend time in watching TV programmes which can dislocate the child from Deeniyat. This way the parents will coordinate with teachers.
